Facts About Me

  1. I have three dogs, and I compete with the youngest of the three in obedience, rally, coursing ability and agility :3
  2. They say that you shouldn’t judge a book my its cover, but I’m a sucker for a beautiful book cover.
  3. I got married in May of this year, and my husband is my best friend. Don’t tell my dogs though. Or my other best friend (sorry Traci).
  4. I have recently learned that I can only handle so many fantasy novels in a row. After a while I have to switch to a contemporary or I just get burned out on living in other worlds. It can be exhausting living in other worlds for a long time!
  5. This morning I had chocolate chip cookies and milk for breakfast. Because I’m an adult, that’s why.
  6. I’m participating in NaNoWriMo for the very first time this year and it’s going okay. I got to 10,000 a week ago and then decided to scrap my entire novel and start a brand new one. I am now 10,000 words into the new one, which is behind schedule -___-
  7. I still listen to all the emo rock bands that I loved in high school, and I have been enjoying lots of 10 year anniversary tours lately, including the 10-year anniversary of Almost Here by The Academy Is… which I’ll be attending next month!

  1. It’s amazing you’ve managed to get through 10,000 words of a new novel in a week! Don’t worry about being behind schedule, it sounds to me as if you’re doing brilliantly.
I know what you mean about getting fantasy burn out. I have to switch to either contemporary or historical fiction for at least one book.
I’m also a sucker for beautiful covers 🙂
Thank you for nominating me! I’ve already accepted this award, so might not do it again. But I’ll let you know if I do. Thank you for thinking of me 🙂

  2. I also need a break of fantasy at points, but then again I loved reading all kinds of different genres. I love my furry friends as well and chocolate chip cookies are the best! 😉 And I wish I could write 10.000 words in a week…

    1. Thank you and good luck to you as well! I took the day off work tomorrow to catch up since I’m pretty far behind on my word count. Netflix is just too distracting 😡
